Read What Others Have Said About Us
We've been coming up here for 10 years. This year, we were surprised when we found out the Lodge had been sold. The new owner is undertaking some major maintenance projects (new fish cleaning house already up) and is also planning some upgrades in other amenities.
We were greeted by the new hosts, and couldn't have been treated better. They did everything they could for us and the other people staying there to make our visit as pleasing and memorable as they could.
If you're a returning guest, I think you'll agree the place is on course to get even better. If you've stayed here before, and didn't have a pleasant experience, give it another shot. You won't be disappointed.
Used to come up fishing here as a kid with my family and 4-6 other families every year in the late 70's until mid 80's. Finally decided to take my kids up to show them where I fished as a kid. Pretty much how i remembered it 34 years ago. The new managers Nikki and Tony were fabulous. Treated us like family. Cabin was clean and the fishing was great. Caught fish at all of the spots my mom and dad had marked on his old map. Kids want to go back every year. Definitely recommend giving it a try if you have never visited.
Outstanding experience, wonderful new managers!
The new managers are so friendly and helpful! Wife and I spent a week here, the fishing (esp. walleye) and the facilities were great. One of the nicest fishing lodges we have stayed at, and the place will only be getting better with many of the upgrades, repairs and improvements that the new managers are doing. Price was very reasonable. We brought our own boat, but the rentals were good quality.
Great week at Forrest Lodge
We spent a week here with friends fishing and enjoying beautiful Caribou Lake. Forrest Lodge is under new ownership and management. The housekeeping cabins are spotless and really beautiful. Kudos to the new management for making our stay GREAT!

you will not regret staying at forrest lodge
I have been going to Caribou lake for 10 years every fall for moose hunting/fishing. Forrest Lodge owners run a first class operation. Very clean, well kept cabins and property. Boats and motors are in great condition. Fishing is unbelievable. Moose are plentiful. They always knows the best places to drop a line. Ice, minnows, worms ,gas, freezers, anything you need for a great trip is all there.
what’s not to like about this place!?
We first came to Forrest Lodge in 1995.We have enjoyed the resort and the lake every spring or fall since then. The boats are first class. The price of lodging and boats are the lowest I’ve seen on the internet. Big fish, little fish, lots of fish, they’re always biting somewhere. Follow the map they give you, use some common sense, you’ll do just fine. We’ve seen bears, caribou, moose, and foxes right at the resort. One nice perk is you drive right to your cabin. The other resorts on the lake you boat to your cabin, but not here. It really is as nice as everybody says.

Great lake, great fishing, great people
I have been going there every year for the last ten years and it never gets old. I have a clicker in my boat and I average 50+ fish a day per person in the boat. And thats with stopping onshore for lunch. There are a lot of fish in the 18-23" range. Plenty of northern, I have caught up to 43 in one trip.”
