We are located on beautiful Caribou Lake NW of Armstrong Ontario. Approximate 160 miles North of Thunder Bay on HWY 527. The small town of Armstrong has a population of about 700. Armstrong consists of a general store, gas station, 2 restaurants, laundromat, health clinic , motel, post office and a police station.

Caribou Lake has over 23,000 acres of PRIME Walleye, Lake Trout and Northern Pike fishing. Depths up to 250ft deep, 25 miles long with lots of island and bays. A diversified bottom structure. cold water temps and a tannin color means bright, flashy baits are a must. There’s plenty of room to roam without the overcrowding.

We have 9 light-housekeeping cabins , all NON-SMOKING, fully modern, 24 hour electricity, indoor facilities, fully equipped kitchens, propane heat, hot and cold running water. Exceptionally clean with plenty of elbow room, separate bedrooms, spacious kitchens and comfortable sitting areas. Gas BBQ grills on all decks with views of the lake. You will need to bring : kitchen & bath towels and dish & bath soap. Our cabins sleep from 2-6 people. We regret we can not accommodate pets. A Deposit of $250US is required to reserve your cabin. (non-refundable)

Our rental boats are 16ft with 30HP Yamaha motors and include : 2 swivel seats with backs, bait buckets, nets, 2 - 5gal gas tanks and a cooler with ice to keep your catch fresh. A $250US deposit is required up front along with your Home Owners Insurance information.( Required if damages exceed the $250 deposit) The deposit is refundable with no damage to boat or motor. New guest will receive 4 hours of free guiding.

Lodging, tag and boat & motor are included in the price. Guides available upon request. There are also plenty of grouse around for a gourmet evening meal or maybe go fishing for a fresh Walleye dinner instead. We will also have the sauna fired up if you wish to warm your tired bones after a day of hunting or fishing.

Rates

All rates are in US funds. Tax not included (apx 11-13%). NO credit cards accepted. Cash or travelers checks for final payment ONLY. Cabin deposit of $250US(non-refundable) is required to confirm booking, (may be paid by personal check ).Lodging portion of bill is due within 90 days of arrival date. Early departures will still be required to pay for days, number of guests & boats booked. Guests are responsible for any and all damages they cause to facilities, property and rental equipment, plus any additional cost that may be incurred in collecting for the damages.

Check in is 3PM ET, NO EARLY ARRIVALS

Check out is 10AM ET, a late check out fee will apply. ($25US per every half-hour late.)
